Uniting cancer leaders, innovators, and frontline teams to deliver earlier diagnosis, personalised treatment, and system-wide transformation

Now in its 8th year, the HSJ Cancer Forum is the premier annual gathering for senior NHS cancer leaders, system partners, and innovators.

It’s where the sector comes together to collaborate on boosting system capacity, improving patient outcomes, and delivering high-quality, equitable cancer services nationwide.

This year’s forum takes place against the backdrop of the new NHS 10-Year Health Plan, the forthcoming Cancer Strategy, and an evolving workforce plan. Discussions will focus on turning national ambitions into real-world impact across prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and personalised care.

The 2025 programme will explore how cancer pathways can be redesigned in line with the NHS’s three major shifts:

  • Hospital to community – delivering more care closer to home
  • Analogue to digital – using technology and data to personalise care and improve efficiency
  • Treatment to prevention – embedding proactive, risk-based interventions across the system

These core themes will be grounded in sessions on workforce, innovation, policy, and commissioning to provide a complete whole-system perspective.

New for 2026 – The Cancer Forum will run alongside:

  • Modernising Diagnostics Forum – unlocking earlier diagnosis and operational efficiency
  • New Genomics Track – harnessing genomics to personalise prevention and treatment

This co-location will create crossover audiences, broaden networking opportunities, and bring fresh voices and expertise into the cancer conversation - accelerating the scale and spread of best practice.

Secure your place today and be part of shaping the future of cancer care.
