Cancer diagnosis, treatment and care has been severely disrupted by the pandemic, but some positive things have also been learned about the value of collaboration, and how off-site locations can be leveraged for care and treatment. This is an extension of the community diagnostic hubs that were recommended by Sir Mike Richards and started to be rolled out in 2020. It does appear that where these hubs are set up and operating effectively, we are seeing positive impacts on outcomes and the patient experience.
The HSJ Cancer Forum covers key topics such as equality of care and access to treatments, cancer networks and alliances at a regional level, community diagnostics, and workforce. It also includes insights into the latest innovative treatments for specific cancers.
You will hear from leaders on national policy, discuss ground-breaking work with trailblazers from the public and private sectors, and explore realistic solutions to your current challenges with peers.
